Traditional Weddings
Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa/Fulani, Efik, Tiv and Edo ceremonies styled with cultural accuracy and modern refinement.
A traditional ceremony carries obligations that no styling can substitute for. We plan yours with elders and cultural consultants involved from the start, so the rites are correct and the aesthetic is still breathtaking.
What this includes
- Cultural consultation with family elders on rites, order of proceedings and required items
- Igba nkwu palm-wine setup, wine-carrying procession and kolanut presentation
- Yoruba engagement with alaga ijoko and alaga iduro coordination, and the letter exchange
- Hausa/Fulani kamu, sa lalle henna night and fatiha logistics
- Bride-price list management, gift display staging and family gift reception
- Aso-oke, george wrapper, coral bead and gele styling coordinated with your stylists
How we work
We build a rites checklist with your family so nothing on the list arrives late or missing — yams, tubers, goats, wine, kola, textiles and cash items are all tracked and receipted. Our team stages the gift display as a designed moment rather than a pile at the side of the hall.
Styling leans into cultural materials: raffia and palm frond installations, brass and terracotta vessels, adire and aso-oke table runners, and canopy structures shaded for outdoor compound ceremonies. We also plan for what Nigerian outdoor events actually need — shade, misting fans, backup power and a rain contingency.
